ARDERY HOOK IS DEAD AT HOME ON JUNCION ST.
Short Illness of Pneumonia Results In Death-Time Of Funeral Not Set, Pending Word From relatives.
Ardery Hook, age 71 years, 6 months and 16 days, died at his home, 308 West Jackson Street at 9. p. m., Monday evening, following a short illness of pneumonia. He is surived by the wife, Mrs. Allie Hook; four sons, Mat Hook, of Rockville, Ind.; Ardery Hook, of Flint, Mich; Ora Hook, and Flavis Hook, of Alexandria; one daughter, May McGinnis, of this city, and one sister,Mrs. Janey Walters, of Elwood.
The funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. E. A. Fleenor of the Church of God, at the home, at 3 o'clock, Thursday afternoon and burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ Doctor for treatment of animals, always had allot of animals around, like raccoons and dogs. Lived in a dilapidated home, rarely worked, gardened. Possum and Coon hunter. Had a coon-dog named Old Blue. Ardery was a fiddler. Ardery was converted to Christ and baptised in the Clifty River during the middle of winter. The doctor said it would kill him but he soon got well.
