More About CATERINA KURR
Below information taken from (Anspach & Lefflers Part I -Anspach- Pg. A4:20)
Father: Thomas Kurr b: 25 Jan 1754 d: 28 Nov. 1832 m: 6 May 1775
Mother: Anna Elizabeth Kintzer b: July 1752 d: 15 Jan. 1829
The Kurr's had 3 sons & 4 daughters. Thomas was a private in Capt. John Fulmer's 8th Co., 2nd Battalion, Berks Co., Militia in 1780. In 1808 he was on the building committee at Altalaha Church. His father, Thomas Kurr, was born in Germany in 1717 and died in 1791. He served as deacon in the Altalaha Church in 1757 and was also in the Revolutionary War.
Catherine's father's will was filed at Reading, Berks Co., in Jan. 1833 and mentions his deceased daughters, Elizabeth and Catherine (her children to receive 900 pounds) and daughters Barbara and Anna Marie, sons John, Thomas and deceased Jacob. (John was married to Anna Marie Roerer, and Thomas to margaret Lepo.)
